MAMAMOO has been one of my favourite girl groups for a while but somehow I'd never made a nail design for any of their songs/music videos before gogobebe.

I loved how fun this song was and the visuals were pretty cool, so I decided to finally break the drought and paint some MAMAMOO nails.

Earlier this year Sally Hansen reached out to me about joining the #SallySquad and trying out some of their polishes along with their new matte gel topcoat. Since I've been into more minimalistic designs recently I went for this simple glitter cuticles look.

Dance the Night Away

This is the first Twice design I've ever painted! I know, I know, what took me so long? To be honestly, Twice's comebacks always seem to happen when I'm busy with other things so I've just never found the time to make any of their mvs into nail designs. 🤷‍♀️ 

I had a fun time with this one though and use the Day-to-Night progression of the music video as inspiration for the design!

DDU-DU DDU-DU

After a little over a year, Blackpink is finally back with their first mini album SQUARE UP! I've never done a nail design for Blackpink before since their comebacks have always been at inconvenient times (AIIYL came out when I was still in Korea last year), but DDU-DU DDU-DU was actually released at the perfect time for me so I finally got induct them into the ranks of groups that I've made nail designs for! 

Rose Marble

It's been way too long since I last did marble nails!
I tried a bit of a new technique for this design by mixing together a few different methods I've seen for painting marble nails.

I got a new pendant for my birthday this year and I thought it would make a cute, fall nail design!

Triple Threat

Even though it's technically autumn now we haven't really had much fall-like weather lately. That hasn't been enough to keep me from doing some autumn-appropriate nail designs though!

All Night

Ok, so I'm totally behind in posting designs to the blog but I'm going to try to get back on top of things and hopefully stay on top of things in the coming months.

I did this design back around mid-August in honour of Girls' Generation's 10 year anniversary and the release of their 6th full-length album Holiday Night! I focused specifically on the music video for the song All Night and tried to tap into all the glitter and glam that SNSD rocked in the video.

I haven't done a fashion-inspired design in a while and since I have time now that exams are over I decided to spend a day going through runway fashion to look for nail inspiration!
One of the runways that I found had some really interesting patterns that were fun for nail designs was Schiaparelli's Spring 2017 Couture Collection.

Spring Day

BTS recently came back with a repackage album You Never Walk Alone and as soon as I saw the mv I knew I wanted to do a design inspired by their title track Spring Day!

I've been meaning to do a Pusheen design for a long time and when I saw a graphic of this cute kitty drinking hot cocoa while I was browsing Pinterest, I knew that now was the perfect time to get this off of my to-do list!

It's Christmas!!
I had wanted to get a few more designs done before the big day but my schedule just didn't allow it this year. Here are the nails I have for Christmas this year though!

Last winter I don't think we got any snow until February, but we've actually had some snow in December this year and it made me want to put some snowflakes on my nails as well!
