Schiaparelli #15

I haven't done a fashion-inspired design in a while and since I have time now that exams are over I decided to spend a day going through runway fashion to look for nail inspiration!
One of the runways that I found had some really interesting patterns that were fun for nail designs was Schiaparelli's Spring 2017 Couture Collection.

This design was inspired by a jacket and dress combo from the Spring 2017 Couture runway. I thought the bright colours and graphic print would make an interesting design, and would pair perfectly with Essie's Belugaria, a polish which I've had forever but rarely get the chance to use in designs.

I had to pop by the store to get some new polishes for this design because I didn't have the exact colours I needed to match the jacket, and I ended up picking up Mint Candy Apple by Essie and Hop Skip and a Jump by Quo. I've heard a lot about Mint Candy Apple in the past but had never bought it for myself and now I understand why the polish is so popular - the colour is super pretty and the formula is really nice with smooth application and intense colour payout.
