NAFW2016 Day 3: Bag

I loved the theme for day three of Fashion Week because it gave me an excuse to indulge in looking through a bunch of designer bags! Even though some designer bags can be pretty impractical (as my friends continuously pointed out while watching me scroll through runway galleries), if I had the money my closet would definitely be filled with them!

Since there were so many cool bags I had a hard time picking just one. I finally decided that I needed to add a bright design in this week and settled on recreating this awesome backpack from Moschino!

2016, Year of the Monkey

Tomorrow (or today, depending on what time zone you're in) is Lunar New Year! Since this year is the year of the monkey, today's manicure features some cute, playful little monkeys!

30 Day Nail Challenge, Day 21: Inspired by a Colour

Just to forewarn you, I really adore this manicure. It's not how I originally planned it, but I really do love how it turned out, and I think it matches with the prompt perfectly.

While I had these nails and was buying food, I had a lady at the cafeteria tell me that I should drop out of University and pursue a career doing nails because she was so impressed.

While I don't think I'll be dropping out of school any time soon, the thought behind her comment was so sweet and it made me smile!

30 Day Nail Challenge, Day 16: Tribal Print

This design is so bright, I simultaneously can't look at it and can't look away from it.

This is my first time using a neon polish and I quite like it, actually. It's also my first time using Seche Vite which is finally being carried in my area! It does dry fast and nicely like I've heard so I'm pleased with it so far.

Even though it's still early, this is one of my favourite manicures of the year. I think the sugar-spun bumblebee design looks adorable on short nails!
