Winner Everywhere Tour

Back in my second year of university, one of my friends decided that our friend group needed to binge all of Who Is Next in one day to check out YG's new boy groups. I'll admit that I've always been more of an SM stan than a YG stan, so I hadn't been all that interested in the show when it first aired. I'll also admit that while watching the show I was a bigger fan of Team B than Team A. However, since Winner and iKon's debuts I've actually found that Winner's music fits my taste more (though I do still like iKon as well).

I didn't know that Winner was coming to Toronto until well after tickets went on sale - somehow the news eluded me until a friend in Calgary finally told me about it. I'm very glad I ended up getting tickets to the show though because this concert ended up being one of my favourites to date!

I can't believe... that SM made us wait like a year and a half for EXO's comeback. Granted, it was a very good comeback and therefore worth the wait but still.
Regardless, the DMUMT was fire and I had a pretty easy time working the Tempo music video into a design (I think, it's been a few months so I could just be glossing over the design process in my memory). Love it when I can keep a consistent colour scheme for the entire design!

Gucci Cruise 2019

Hello friends! I'm alive!

I'm sorry for disappearing from the blog for the better part of 6 months; I've had a really busy half-year and just didn't have the time or energy to keep this blog (or FB/Tumblr) up to date with everything I've been doing on IG and Youtube.

In the time I've been away from the blog, I was working a summer job and then started a new graduate program in the Fall which took up a lot of my time. Now that I'm taking a semester-long break I have some time to catch up with all the blog-related things I've been slacking on recently -- so prepare yourselves for some back-to-back-to-back blog posts!

First up I have a design that I posted back on July 10th inspired by a look from Gucci's Cruise 2019 collection!

Black Dress

A little while ago CLC came back with a new concept for their album and title song "Black Dress." CLC is another one of my favourite girl groups, so I really wanted to put together a nail design for this comeback!

Bad Boy

I had a a bit of fun back in early February putting together this design inspired by Red Velvet's Bad Boy music video. Given the time frame I painted it in, it also doubled as a kind of alternative Valentine's Day design!
