Earlier this year Sally Hansen reached out to me about joining the #SallySquad and trying out some of their polishes along with their new matte gel topcoat. Since I've been into more minimalistic designs recently I went for this simple glitter cuticles look.

NAFW2016 Day 2: Shoes
Day two of Fashion Week is shoes!
There were so many awesome shoes to pick from this year! I swear I had like 30 tabs open at one point with different pairs that I either wanted to turn into nails or just wanted for myself :P Ah, to be able to afford $900 shoes.
But without further ado, here are my shoe-inspired nails for NAFW!

NAFW2015 Day 5: Fashion Blogger/Style Icon
It's day five of Fashion Week and it's time to pay tribute to our favourite Style Icons!
Now I'm going to be honest and say that I don't follow fashion enough to really look up to an individual person in terms of style and I don't base my personal fashion off of a blogger, celebrity, or anyone else. My answer about having a Style Icon is kind of the same as when we were in elementary school or high school and you would be asked who your role model was; I don't really have one. I can, however, appreciate people who have a unique sense of style and look fashionable in whatever they wear. That's why, for me, when it comes to style Icons it has to be SHINee's Key.

Holler
Welcome back to me! I've been m.i.a. from the nail art scene for over a week because University started again and it's been kicking my butt. It's weird to actually have to go to class and hand in projects after being off for 4 months; it's hard getting back into that rhythm!
But on a brighter note I finally managed to find some time to do my nails and it was just in time for TaeTiSeo's comeback! Super excited about it and thus I just had to do a design inspired by their title track Holler.

Rough Around the Edges
I decided to try out two things I've been meaning to try for a while now: Ikat and OPI's Push and Shove.
I've been thinking about doing an ikat manicure for a while and the opportunity finally arose when I needed something to pair with Push and Shove. I love how bright it is and how forgiving it can be.
As for Push and Shove, I've been wanting to try it for a while and was glad to get the opportunity to do so. It's a great polish, one of the best chrome polishes I've tried. I was going to leave the index and pinky fingers with only Push and Shove but broke down and added Essie's Belugaria for a ruffian look. I think they're great paired together!
Products Used:
Coco & Lulu - 992 Riviera
Essie - 964 Belugaria
OPI - Push and Shove
OPI - Lay Down That Base
Sally Hansen - 300 White On
Sally Hansen - 370 Black Out
Seche Vite - Quick Dry Top Coat
- Becca.
