Sooooo you know how I said Blackpink would be my last concert for a while? I seem to have been mistaken.... 😅
I honestly didn’t think I’d be going to any concerts during the summer (of 2019) but Heize's Toronto tour date didn’t clash with my work schedule so I figured why not!
I really didn't have a lot to work with for this design, because the poster for this concert tour was literally just a picture of Heize and the stops/dates. So, instead of looking to the poster, I turned my attention to her (at the time) most recently released album, She's Fine.
As you can see, I kind of combined the grey tone of the picture, Heize's logo, and her dress to create my nails for the concert.
While it isn't an as in-your-face, obviously Heize-inspired design like most of my other concert nails have been, I still liked the colour combination!
As for the concert itself, let me start by saying that Heize is So. Cute. in person! All her fan service and interaction with the crowd was so sweet 🥰 And her voice! She did a few little snippets of songs by fan request without any backing instrumental and they were great!
I think I went and got dinner with a friend before the show, so I didn't get there early enough to get a standing spot close to the stage, but even from the back it was definitely a fun time! (I was a little confused at the surprise opener for the show though - they had a DJ come out which was fine, but I think he played for like 45 minutes to an hour and it was just. kinda long). Overall though, I was really happy that I got to go to the show - it was my first concert for an artist not from a Big 3 (+Bighit) company, and I really liked the chill atmosphere!
You can check out my IG post about the concert here to see some fancams from the show!
