Popsicle Party

Hey guys! After the slew of music-inspired designs that I've done over the past two or so months I kind of want to shake things up and do some more general, summery designs. First up is this cute, bright popsicle print!

I honestly have no idea why my first instinct when doing summer designs is to turn to food-inspired prints (remember all the fruit designs I did last summer?) but it seems to be working for me so I'm just gonna go with it haha!
I got the idea for this design after running across this print on Pinterest a few weeks ago (click the photo for original source):

I substituted the peach background of the print for a light icy blue partially to brighten the design up a bit and partially because I wanted to use my new Essie polish (Find Me An Oasis), right away! It's such a gorgeous blue that I almost wanted to just leave my nails plain because I loved it so much and that almost never happens to me!
I picked up some other Essie polishes while I was out as well (someone needs to stop letting me buy new polish) which will probably also make appearances in my next few designs.
