Mantra (Privé)

I may or may not have been planning this design since Baekhyun made his appearance at Privé's LA Fashion Presentation in February of 2019.

This design is inspired by his outfit at the event, which was a combination of Privé's Glint and Mantra shirts - I was waiting for both of the shirts to launch on the online storefront before making this set. Not that I was being sponsored by them or anything, (though, if Privé Alliance is looking for influencers to sponsor... hmu 👀), but I really just wanted to be able to get a closer look at the Mantra shirt to be able to copy Baek's writing.

As with any design where I'm painting fonts, I tried to keep as close to Bakehyun's handwriting as possible. Being handwritten, it definitely was a bit of a challenge as every single "B" and "E" Baek wrote were ever so slightly different. It was definitely fun though, and I was really happy with how this look turned out!

I also painted this design just before Baekhyun's first solo mini album was released, so I was pretty excited to hear (what I know now to be) one of my favourite albums of 2019!
(And obviously, I painted nails inspired by the City Lights album - look out for that post coming up!)
