St. Patrick's Day

Oh look I'm finally on time with posting a holiday manicure! Exciting, right?

So green, so sparkly.
I've never really been sure how I felt about having predominantly green nails, but I think these are cute nonetheless.
Also I'm not sure why but I always seem to have trouble drawing shamrocks. Maybe I'll master the shamrock by next year.
I'm really feeling the gold glitter encrusted nail though, it's so shiny and it makes me wish glitter wasn't such a pain to take off, (because I'd be doing a lot more glitter manis).

Hope everyone's holiday is going well!

Pretty Pretty Elephants

Last week I was really excited to be asked to do my very first guest post! I was contacted by Amy at BeautyOfficials.com who asked if I would be interested in doing a Guest Look for her site.

I said yes and came up with this design for her!

The pattern was inspired by the following image, and the original post can be found here:

I thought the elephants were really cute and they were fun to do!
If you're interested in making some elephants of your own, I made a tutorial for them which can be found here.

It was really exciting for me to be asked to do a guest post and I hope I can do more in the future!

Supernatural

Any Supernatural Fans out there?

An anon on my main blog asked me for some SPN nails. However, all of my knowledge of the show comes from gifs and what I've heard online, so after some intensive research (read: Google) this is what I came up with!

Hopefully it meets fans' standards, personally I think it looks pretty good, I think the black over the wood texture makes it look like it's burnt into wood.

The wood texture is something I saw both nailuminium and Chelsea Queen do and I just had  to try it!
Also I used this picture for reference for the angle wings.

Mr. Mr.

It's that time again: Comeback Time! SNSD just came back with their 4th Mini Album Mr. Mr. and I once again just had to make a manicure based off of their title track.

Octo-palooza

My roommate has been asking me for a while to make some octopus nails and I finally got around to doing them!
When I saw this sweater I immediately wanted to make it into a nail design which ended up working our perfectly for both of us!

These are probably the most detailed nails I've done in a while and I'm really happy with the result! Also, I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before but I really love black and white nails so that coupled with the design itself made these even better in my eyes.
