Pyeongchang 2018 Olympics

I'm a liiiittle bit late in posting these, but I had a lot of fun watching the Pyeongchang 2018 Olympics this year and cheering on all of the athletes who were competing (especially those from Team Canada, but that's just some national bias showing 😜🇨🇦). All of the various ice skating events were definitely my favourites to watch, but I caught my fair share of curling, skiiing, and snowboarding as well.

2018, Year of the Dog

Happy Lunar New Year to everyone who celebrates! It's now the year of the golden dog, so I incorporated a cute puppy into this design!

I had a a bit of fun back in early February putting together this design inspired by Red Velvet's Bad Boy music video. Given the time frame I painted it in, it also doubled as a kind of alternative Valentine's Day design!

Shinin'

When SM first announced that they would be releasing Jonghyun's final album I was a little surprised at how fast it came. It was released just over a month after his passing, and honestly all of the emotions were, and still are, pretty raw. But everything else aside, Jonghyun is a true poet, a true artist, and being able to listen to Shinin' and then entire Poet | Artist album was a gift.

Secret Garden

This may come as a surprise to most of you since I've never painted a design for them before, but I really like Oh My Girl and was excited to see them come back this January! There were definitely some behind-the-scenes difficulties with this design, but I really wanted to make it work for such a pretty song!

Rose Marble

It's been way too long since I last did marble nails!
I tried a bit of a new technique for this design by mixing together a few different methods I've seen for painting marble nails.
