Just Peachy

I went to the store yesterday for a $2 bag of cotton balls and ended up spending $30 because Essie was on sale... I seriously need to curb my spending on polishes. But anyways, the colours I picked up were Essie's Serial Shopper (the neon orange on the index and pinky fingers above), and Ruffles & Feathers (used above for the leaves). At least I can slightly justify my purchases since I used both colours right away! That's how it works, right?

This design almost didn't see the light of day; I hadn't even started painting the peaches when I decided that this design would be a bad idea and wouldn't look good on the yellow base. As I was internally debating I started to messily experiment with painting one of the peaches. It turned out much better than expected and thus this design was saved from the graveyard of scrapped ideas.

Also, if you're interested in the studs that I used, they're from BPS and can be found here. Don't forget to use the coupon code FHX31 for 10% off your purchase!

I'm not sure how this happened but this is my second fruit-inspired and third food-inspired manicure in the past month. There's going to be at least one more design in my unintentional summer food series coming up so stay tuned!
