Fanged Fruit

Lemon nails are such a classic for summer, and that's what I was going to paint this week, but then I saw a dragon fruit print on Pinterest and decided that that would be more fun!

I haven't painted fruit-inspired nails in a while, but I always feel like they're a staple of summer designs.

Dragon fruit isn't a fruit that my family ever really ate. I tried some at a friend's house and it's not really my thing, but I did enjoy the dragon fruit drink at Starbucks.

Either way, I think I prefer dragon fruit on my nails as opposed to eating it.
For this design I thought it was cute to have the inside of the fruit on two of the nails and then the outer skin on the others.

It's a pretty simple design if you're looking for something cute and fresh for summer!
