Happy Halloween! 🧟♀️🎃👻
I wasn’t sure what to paint for Halloween this year, so I went back to my favourite, super quick wounds technique with a few added stitches and (fake) glass shards for fun 😈
I looooove this wounds technique, it so easy but it always looks so cool. I've showed how to do it in a few different videos now, so if you want to recreate it yourself you can check out either my EXO Monster Tutorial or my BTS BS&T Tutorial.
To change things up this year I decided to try adding stitches and some glass shards to the nails.
The stitches are just some black thread that I ran through a topcoat to give them that slightly glossy, stiff texture. The "glass shards" are cut up pieces of clear fake nails! To get the blood gushing effect around the edges of the shards, I applied red polish to the edge of the plastic piece before digging it into the still-drying base polish.
Oh! And to get the splatter effect on the index finger I blew some red polish through a straw!
Super fun technique if you're looking for gorey Halloween nails!
