Sakura Blossom (Sticker Review)

Hey guys! I’m reviewing some more stickers today, this time some that look like sakura blossoms! Before I get into the review, please ignore the thumb in this design; I did these nails just after painting my thumbs to match exo's Ex'Act teasers and didn't want to take them off just yet :P

These stickers (#21142) come in a one sheet package.

These are different from what I’m used to reviewing because these are actual stickers instead of water decals, so no water needed! The name of the product on BPS’ website says the stickers are 3D. I'm not 100% sure what they mean by that, but in my opinion the stickers were flat/2D. Which is a good thing, because it means that when you put the stickers on your nails and add the topcoat you can’t really see the edges of the stickers which is exactly what you want!

One thing I should mention is that you should be very gentle when taking the stickers off the paper backing. I tried removing them with my nails and I ended up accidentally folding a bit of the sticker back onto itself and then couldn’t get it unstuck. My suggestion would be to use the second method I tried, which is using thin tweezers to coax them up off the backing. I had a much easier time using this method.

As I mentioned previously, you can only faintly see the edges of the stickers once you’ve applied topcoat which is great. I also found the stickers adhered well to the nail even prior to topcoat. I did have a little bit of a problem getting one of the full nail stickers to lie completely flat, but it was a minor issue and you couldn’t really tell.

Overall I quite liked this product; it’s definitely very pretty and I could see myself using them again. I can also see my past self from back when I was just getting into nails being in love with these stickers, so I can see them being a hit with beginners or people who just aren’t into doing freehand nails!
If you want to try this product out for yourself it retails for C$4.91 (US$3.69) and can be found in the Nail Art section of BPS’ website.

BPS offers free worldwide shipping on all orders and you can use my code FHX31 for 10% off your entire order!

Thanks for reading!
