I don’t even know how long it’s been since I did just a simple, minimalist design.

Don’t get me wrong, I love painting my intricate Kpop nails, but sometimes a girl’s just gotta paint some black and white lines and call it a day 😂

Just Tri It

Before painting this design I had an unfortunate run-in with my fridge and broke my middle nail down into a nub. The break was too bad to try to save, so all of my other nails had to be sacrificed and filed down to the shortest they had been in a good 3 years.

Triple Threat

Even though it's technically autumn now we haven't really had much fall-like weather lately. That hasn't been enough to keep me from doing some autumn-appropriate nail designs though!

When I was in Florida a few weeks ago I picked up a new phone case from Pac Sun and I thought it would make a cute nail design!

Abstraction

After swatching a few polishes from Londontown in my last post, I wanted to do a design with one of the polishes! Like I mentioned before, BRILL-ant way my favourite out of the 4 polishes I tried out and so I did a simple but cool geometric design over top of it.

Piece By Piece

I don't know about the rest of you, but April has been a really busy month for me. On top of participating in Nail Art Fashion Week two weeks ago, April is exam month for me so I've had a lot of studying and writing to do as well. The good news though is that EXAMS ARE OVER!! I'm officially done my third year of uni and am very much looking forward to having the next four months off from the stress of looming deadlines.

As a result of trying to concentrate on studying, this week's design is just a simple geometric pattern loosely inspired by Daily Charme's packaging!

NAFW2016 Day 4: Fashion Trend

For day four of Fashion Week we were challenged to pick our favourite trend from the Fall 2016 Runways!
There were a lot of interesting trends to pick from (including velvet, puffed sleeves, and period pieces) but the one that I ended up going with was capes! One of my close friends got me a cape/poncho for my birthday last year so I've kind of been into capes lately. The one that I chose to recreate for Fashion Week is one from Gucci's Fall 2016 RTW Runway.
