Before painting this design I had an unfortunate run-in with my fridge and broke my middle nail down into a nub. The break was too bad to try to save, so all of my other nails had to be sacrificed and filed down to the shortest they had been in a good 3 years.
I had also been battling a cold the whole week before painting this, so this simple little triangle design was about the most I wanted to drag myself out of bed to paint 😂 It’s really cute though, and I think this kind of simple design suits short nails well, so if nothing else it was well timed.
Amidst all the intricate nail art I do, I've really been feeling this kind of super simple, sheer nail art. It's so minimalistic and I think it's super chic!
