There Was an Apple

First nails of the spooky season! 🦇

For this design I was inspired by a print I saw on Pinterest. I haven't seen Snow White in forever, but I thought that the poison apple from the movie would be a cute design for Halloween.
I don't know if anyone will remember what I'm talking about, but I took the title for this design from that old Snow White ad on Disney VHS tapes/DVDs that came on before you go to the movie. I didn't remember the whole thing exactly, but from the snippets of dialogue I remembered, I was actually able to find the trailer on Youtube! The intro part that I remembered and that the title is from is "Before a magic lamp yielded its power, before an enchanted rose cast it's spell, before a glass slipper revealed its magic, there was an apple."
It turns out the trailer was for Snow White being released on DVD in 2001, so shout out to the advertising team who came up with those ads, they clearly captivated 5 year old me and stuck in my head even 19 years later!

Since Halloween designs by and large use dark colour palettes, I also thought it would be fun to go with a more pastel look for this set. The light purple base that I used here was Barefoot Bash from CND; I thought it would bring a bit of cuteness to this ~scary~ holiday!
