Faded Forest

Originally posted on November 19th, 2019.

I'm still sticking with nature inspired nails for the moment, but this time I'm focusing on trees instead of flowers.

This design is inspired by a cute mug from @2232ceramics that I saw on Pinterest! I haven't done a reciprocal gradient in forever, but when I saw this mug I thought it would be a really cute look for a nail design!

I wanted this to be another fall design but everyone keeps telling me it looks wintery/Christmassy because of the evergreens, so I guess it's up to you how you want to look at it. When I painted this design though, my mom told me that I should take pictures of it with my CHEN April, and a Flower album because the trees matched. I'm pretty sure that painting is supposed to be a forest in the spring, so I guess this design can really be representing any season you want!
