EXO: *releases one (1) minute-long concept trailer*
Me: I must make a nail design for this IMMEDIATELY 👀

What can I say? EXO's teasers got me again.
I may have been able to wait for the actual music video to be released to make an OBSESSION inspired design if it wasn’t for the maknae line having their nails done in the teaser. That’s truly what did me in; I just had to recreate their grungy nails for myself.

Sooooo how’s everyone feeling about EXO vs. X-EXO? 🏳️🏴 I’m always amazed at all of the theories eris come up with and I had fun reading through a bunch of them 🧐 I got major pathcode/monster vibes from the teasers so my expectations for this comeback were pretty high. Writing this post now, after the fact, I'm happy to say that the music video didn't pull a CMB and end up being nothing like the teasers, so I was really satisfied with it! I also have a design inspired by the music video coming up, so stay tuned for that!

These nails are super simple - I feel like Kai and Sehun's nails were probably just done with like a sharpie or something judging by the finish. You could totally do that for your own design, but probably use a basecoat so that the marker doesn't leech into your nail, and a topcoat to keep it from smudging off. However, if you want a bit of a longer lasting design, you could also use nail polish to recreate the look like I did here.
