NAFW2015 Day 5: Fashion Blogger/Style Icon

It's day five of Fashion Week and it's time to pay tribute to our favourite Style Icons! 
Now I'm going to be honest and say that I don't follow fashion enough to really look up to an individual person in terms of style and I don't base my personal fashion off of a blogger, celebrity, or anyone else. My answer about having a Style Icon is kind of the same as when we were in elementary school or high school and you would be asked who your role model was; I don't really have one. I can, however, appreciate people who have a unique sense of style and look fashionable in whatever they wear. That's why, for me, when it comes to style Icons it has to be SHINee's Key.

The prompt for day four of Fashion Week was to focus on a fashion trend. I don’t usually keep up with runway trends but after looking through this gallery I decided to focus on the trend of fairytale-like designs!

NAFW2015 Day 3: Bag

I have some more fun things for you for day three of Fashion Week!

Today's prompt is bags and let me tell you, going through designer handbags makes me a) question why anyone would pay $3,000 for a bag, and b) wish I has $3,000 to blow on a really cute handbag.

The bag that is the inspiration for today's design is - appropriately - called "Cheap and Chic" and while its $210 price tag still looks pricey to me, I can appreciate that it definitely is much cheaper than its $3,000 companions (I'm looking at you, Louis Vuitton).

I may be playing into the stereotype here, but honestly who can deny how fun it is to browse through pages of pretty, gorgeous, and insane shoes?

I did a complete 180 from yesterday's delicate, pretty design and went for something more graphic and colourful!

NAFW2015 Day1: Favourite Fashion Designer

Hey guys!

This week is going to be packed with new nail art because I'm super excited to announce that I'll be participating the first ever Nail Art Fashion Week hosted by @sonailicious, @seizethenail, @manicurator, and @faustgil!

The first challenge is to do a design inspired by your favourite designer. I don't usually follow fashion that closely so I don't really have a favourite designer, but since I've found nail art inspiration from Marc Jacobs in the past (good lord look at how long my nails were) I went back in search of more and was not disappointed!

I'm back! Sorry for the lack of updates last week guys, school was hectic and I had multiple midterms to study for. The worst of it is (hopefully) over though and I should have time to do my nails again!
This week's design is quite simple but still rather pretty!
