Home Run

As it was with my BTS nails, I've been getting requests for quite a while to do some GOT7 inspired nails. I've been putting it off for a while since their last few mv's didn't really catch my interest in terms of nail art material, but their latest song Home Run did provide me with some inspiration so here we go!

I don't really follow got7 enough to know the answer to this, but does anyone know why there wasn't a music video for this song? Since they're promoting it on music shows I figured there would be an mv for it but I didn't see one on JYP's channel.

Either way, I worked around the no mv situation and instead watched literally every one of their performances on music shows with this song. This did make it a bit difficult for me though since they didn't keep a consistent colour scheme throughout the performances and they have like 5 different logos for the song. I was basically inundated with options and had a hard time narrowing it down to a design that would kind of encompass all of the performances.

Hopefully you guys think it worked out well in the end?
The shots that I ended up using for inspiration were (as seen in the above collage):
Baseball Logo - Inkigayo 160424
Homerun Shirt - Music Bank 160422
GOT7 Logo - Inkigayo 160417

I liked the concept for this song particularly because - if I haven't mentioned it before - baseball is probably my favourite sport to watch (Go Jays Go! ;D ).

Since this design was requested by a subscriber on youtube, (and because my kpop designs seem to do wayy better than any of my other videos), I obviously had to make a tutorial for it! The tutorial shows you how to recreate everything but the thumb nail (because lbr, it was hard enough to paint that off camera let alone on camera).
Remember to tag me (or tag your pics with #looknyanails on IG and Tumblr) so that I can see your recreations!
