Gimme That, Gimme That Ice Cream

Who wants some ice cream??
Even though I'm surrounded my ice cream all summer (I work at an ice cream shop) I'm still not tired of it and even love it enough to wear it (in the form of charms) on my nails!

30 Day Nail Challenge, Day 30: Inspired by a Tutorial

The last day of the 30 days is upon us!
Wow, while it feels like it went fast I'm also realizing that it took me almost a year to finish a month long challenge. Oh well.
Anyways, this lovely plaid print was inspired by Mr.Candiipants' tutorial which you can watch for yourself here.
It's a very simple and easy to follow tutorial and the result is such a cute flannel print! Yay!

I wasn't originally going to have the jean print for the accent nails but my roommate convinced me that it would be perfect with the flannel ~

Two more posts for the 30 Day Nail challenge, one recreation of a manicure from the challenge and then I have a post planned to summarize the challenge.

We're Off to See the Wizard

This manicure is the result of my inspiration from Nailpornography's NOTW prompt, nails inspired by a movie.
I really love the wizard of oz and thought it would be fun to recreate it on my nails!

Yellow Brick Road ft. Poppies
Dorothy's Dress
Ruby Slippers
Emerald City
The Wicked Witch melting
A little girl and her father came into the shop I work at while I had these nails and I was super impressed because when she saw them she guessed the theme right away and told her dad excitedly "It's the castle from The Wizard of Oz!" and proceeded to name every scene on my nails. It was really adorable and she completely made my day!
