Plaid Tips (Dual Product Review: Water Decals + Charms)

Hey guys! I have a dual wintery product review for you today! Both the plaid water decals and the Christmas Charms I’ll be talking about are from Born Pretty Store.

First up is the Plaid decals. They come in a 1 sheet package and are available in 24 different patterns/colours.

So the first thing about these decals is that I actually got sent the wrong colour (I ended up with pattern #2 instead of #24) but I made do and I’m being given these products free of charge so I really shouldn’t complain.

Onto the product itself, I was happy to see that the product code for these decals was in the bottom corner of the sheet instead of smack in the middle as they tend to be on many BPS decals. This makes it easier to make full use of the sheet. Yay!

In terms of application they work the same way as every other decal I’ve review for BPS and the quality is just as high. I’ll remind everyone again that you need to put a white base coat on before applying these decals as they’re semi-translucent. If you don’t do the white base first the decals will not look like they do in the package.

I also decided to do something a little different with these decals and cut them so they’d look like french tips! Pretty easy to do since the decals come in a sheet and you’re cutting them out yourself anyways. Just another idea of what you can do with sheet water decals!

If you’d like to try out these decals they sell for C$3.75 (US$3.11) and as I mentioned previously they come in a wide variety of different colours.

The second product I’ll be talking about is a set of assorted Christmas charms. The set comes with 10 different holiday charms.

I found these studs pretty large and the backs weren’t super curved so they didn’t fit to my nail all that well. With that being said they do look pretty cute and if you’re gentle with your hands while wearing them you probably won’t have any issues with them.

If you’d like to try the charms out for yourself they sell for C$5.41 (US$4.49) and can be found in BPS’ nail art section.

Don’t forget that you can use my promo code FHX31 for 10% off your order (and they BPS offers free worldwide shipping on all orders).

Thanks for reading!

xo,
Becca.
