I am absolutely, ridiculously late on posting this design, but I hope you'll forgive me.

The pandemic, followed by moving to a new country for a job (I moved to Korea!!) left me with very little mental energy and physical time to do nail design write ups.

BUT, I'm back and hopefully will be able to get caught up at some point.

So without further ado, here is my design inspired by BTS' song ON!

BTS Love Yourself World Tour

Tickets for BTS' Love Yourself tour went on sale suuuper early, but I was lucky enough to snag a P1 ticket when they went on sale back in May. Once September rolled around and it was finally time to go to the concert I was pretty excited and, as always, needed my nails to be decked out for the occasion!

IDOL

Ah, IDOL. What an interesting music video. I'm pretty sure the first time I watched it I sat there questioning what the artistic director was on while coming up with the concept. After watching it many, many more times to plan out this design, I was still kind of feeling a bit overwhelmed by just how much stuff was going on. 🤷‍♀️
I did, however, end up narrowing things down and picking out some specific scenes that I felt showcased the overall vibe of the mv.

Fake Love

Another BTS comeback, another interesting plot-driven music video to try to base a design around. My design planning for this one got pretty intense and almost morphed into a full-on mv analysis, so I feel like a sacrificed the design's colour scheme a bit for relevance to the story line. There are still some connecting threads to the nails though, which I think pull the design together.

Daydream

Hey guys! I'm back with another kpop design!
Back in March J-Hope, a member of BTS, released his mixtape "Hope World" and while I didn't have the time to do a design based on it right away, I still wanted to put something together for it because the music video for the promotional track "Daydream" was so fun!

MIC Drop

I was a bit surprised a week or two ago when the views on my BTS DNA tutorial started spiking - the views went from about 15k to 148k over the span of a few days. The spike happened around when BTS was on their American media tour, so I'm assuming youtube promo-ed it because of all the BTS hype at the time. With the spike in views also came a spike in comments, and I had a sudden influx of people requesting a BTS MIC Drop inspired design. Since Big Hit had just dropped the music video for the Steve Aoki Mic Drop remix, I figured it was as good a time as any to tackle the design!

DNA

Hey guys! A little while ago BTS came back with their latest album Love Yourself: Her, and I wanted to do a nail design inspired by the music video for their promotional track DNA!

Spring Day

Passing by the edge of the cold winter, until the days of spring, until the days of the flower blossoms 🌸❄️

BTS recently came back with a repackage album You Never Walk Alone and as soon as I saw the mv I knew I wanted to do a design inspired by their title track Spring Day!

Blood Sweat & Tears

From the amount of requests I get on my Youtube channel to do Bangtan inspired designs I know a lot of my followers are ARMYs. So when BTS started releasing their Wings teasers and then released their Blood, Sweat & Tears music video I knew that another BTS design would be in my future.

Fire

Right after I decide to do my first kpop nail design in a while, BTS decides to have a comeback and I end up doing two kpop designs back to back.

When I heard Fire and saw the video I knew I couldn't pass up the opportunity to turn it into a nail design; there was so much material to work with and a strong overlying theme!

Run

I've been getting a lot of request for BTS nails recently, so their latest comeback with the album The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt. 2 was the perfect opportunity for me to transform their promotional song and mv Run into a nail design!
