Power Up

Red Velvet has a lot of comebacks in 2018. This design was inspired Power Up, the promotional song from their Summer Magic album. I have to admit, I wasn't much of a fan of the song on my first listen, but as with many RV songs it grew on me the more I listened to it. The mv was bright and colourful which made for the perfect, kpop-inspired summer nail design!

It was a bit of a challenge for me to make sure that this design didn’t end up looking too similar to my Red Flavor design from last year since both MVs really emphasized fruits. This one definitely ended up being more colourful though, and I really like how some of the fruits turned out! The kiwi is definitely my favourite, followed by the blue orange 🥝💖
