Cat Got Your Tongue

After my last intricate design I wanted to take a bit of a break with a simpler pattern. I've had this cute cat print sitting in my inspiration folder for a while and this was the perfect opportunity to transform it into a nail design!

Despite how popular cats are, I haven't actually done a cat-inspired design since last year during Nail Art Fashion Week. Come to think of it, that design and this one have basically the same colour schemes, but while that one was inspired by a pair of Charlotte Olympia flats, this one was inspired by this cute print that I found on Pinterest.

This set was super easy to paint, it couldn't have taken me more than an hour total to finish it. If you want to try recreating this design for yourself, start off by painting all of your nails cream. Once they're dry, make a curved "V" shape in black polish. Make two little triangles at the top of the V, and then connect them in the center with a horizontal line. Repeat for more cats. Fill the shape in with black, and add whiskers. Add noses in cream, and paint smaller cream triangles in some of the cats' ears. Seal in your design with a topcoat and you're done!
I hope this mini-walk-through was helpful for you guys!
