Rose To The Occasion

Hi guys! If you follow me on Instagram as well as here you probably know that I'm super behind with this post; I should have had it up like 5 days ago. The reason for this - besides me being a lazy butt who didn't want to edit photos - is that school has started up once again which means it's back to classes (boo!) and having a social life (woo!). As much as it pains me, this means I'll probably be cutting down on the volume of designs I'll be posting for a little while to concentrate on school. I should still have at least one design up per week, but sadly it'll probably be a little difficult for me to do more than that.

But anyways, now that you're updated on me let's get back to the matter at hand: my nails!
I swear I know that the season that's just started is fall and not spring, but I've just been feeling the floral designs lately!

I honestly was feeling pretty uninspired when I sat down to do my nails last week and ended up browsing around pinterest and google images for like an hour trying to figure out something to do. I must have grabbed for polishes like 3 times before deciding that I didn't really want to do the design I was grabbing polishes for.

After a while I finally found this really pretty picture of vintage rose bunting and thought it would be perfect since it's kind of the shape of my nails and the individual pieces of bunting gave me the patterns to do for all of my nails - no thinking involved!

I may have taken a little bit of artistic license by changing the dots on the index finger to red rather than white, but I think it still fits with the design overall and looks pretty cute!

I should hopefully have another design up for you guys soon!
