Hey guys! I'm sure you all know that Valentine's day is coming up this Saturday and I couldn't be more excited. Not about the holiday itself (/cough singles awareness day), but because it gives me a valid excuse for designing some really-super-girly, pastel pink nails! Woo!

These may not be the most creative nails I've ever done but there was no way I wasn't going to take advantage of my nails being in the right shape for heart tips on Valentines day! I'm so in love with them; they're super pale which is kind of different for me and they just look so delicate and make me feel really girly.

These is also probably the easiest design I've ever done. Like, ever. Two strokes of the brush from the bottle to make the heart and then a quick outline and little dots for the lace. Just counting painting time this only took me 35 minutes which is like a quarter of the time it usually takes me to do my nails.

My original plan was to use pearl studs for this but the ones that I have have this kind of metallic blue/copper sheen on the tops of them and it kind of ruined the whole colour palette. After looking through my studs for an alternative I realized that my wheel of multi-colour studs from BPS had these light pink studs which matched the design perfectly!
