These may not be the most creative nails I've ever done but there was no way I wasn't going to take advantage of my nails being in the right shape for heart tips on Valentines day! I'm so in love with them; they're super pale which is kind of different for me and they just look so delicate and make me feel really girly.
These is also probably the easiest design I've ever done. Like, ever. Two strokes of the brush from the bottle to make the heart and then a quick outline and little dots for the lace. Just counting painting time this only took me 35 minutes which is like a quarter of the time it usually takes me to do my nails.
My original plan was to use pearl studs for this but the ones that I have have this kind of metallic blue/copper sheen on the tops of them and it kind of ruined the whole colour palette. After looking through my studs for an alternative I realized that my wheel of multi-colour studs from BPS had these light pink studs which matched the design perfectly!
I hope you all have a lovely Valentine's day filled with lots of chocolate! (:

Oooh chocolate, I hadn't even thought about that but now yeah I'm eating lots of chocolate tomorrow! :D I love this design you did, it's so delicate and it works perfectly with your nail shape! Sometimes it's nice to do a design that doesn't require so much time and concentration ;)
