Not a Morning Person

It's finally time for the first Halloween manicure of the season!
My goal is to get three Halloween manicures in this year so hopefully I'll be able to squeeze the next two into the following week.

For this first manicure I was inspired by some really cute PJs I got while I was in Hawaii (I always end up getting some pajamas from David & Goliath when I go to the States because they're so cute and I don't believe they have any stores in Canada - or at least not in my area)

I thought the bats on the material would make a really cute design for Halloween so I've been waiting about a month or so to actually do this design!
One of the best things about these PJs is that the bats (and everything else in green) glow in the dark! There's no way I could do this design without it also glowing in the dark, so I finally got to put the glow in the dark top coat I picked up recently to good use!

I've heard people talk about how hard it is to get good pictures of glow in the dark and neon/uv light polishes but I never really understood the pain until now. Because it requires such a long exposure and I can't keep my hand still for that long, about 95% of the pictures I tried to take turned out fuzzy. This was the best one and it's still kind of mediocre. I'll try to improve on my dark shots for future designs!

Products Used:
Essie - Grow Stronger Base Coat
Essie - Licorice
Primark - No Name Glow in the Dark
Sally Hansen - Blue Me Away!
Sally Hansen - White On
Seche Vite - Quick Dry Top Coat

Becca.
