Rio 2016 Olympics

Hey guys!
I don't know about you, but even though I'm generally not that into sports, I love watching the events when the Olympics are on. Gymnastics and diving are usually the ones that I gravitate to, but this year I was excited to see the Women's Individual Foil because one of my friends was competing in it! What events are do you look forward to the most during the Olympics?

Of course I had to do nails for the games, and for once I actually had a really easy time designing this. I mean, some things changed while I was painting (for example I was originally just going to paint the maple leaf on the pinky) but the changes weren't things I was agonizing over or second guessing, they were more just like "oh, this will definitely look better, I'll do this instead." Definitely a nice change the fretting I've done over some designs recently :P

Another slight change was the thumb nail; I was originally going to do the Rio logo with the three people holding hands, but honestly it just got too late and I was too tired to try to do gradients so I went with the Olympic rings instead.
I've also had a few customers at work as me what the design on the middle finger is: it's just one of the logos for the games that I saw on the Olympics website.

Since I've done designs for the past 3 Olympics games I figured it would be fun to put together a little progress collage just to be able to see how much I've improved over the last 4 years. It really is amazing how much you can improve with consistent practice!
