Like You Know It All

Today's design is really simple, just a gradient with my go-to tribal design over top (+ some studs because every design could use some studs).

I did these nails over the weekend to go with the shirt I wore to my very first "country" party! My roommate from last year lives out in the country and invited me over for the surprise birthday party she was throwing for her brother. As a city-girl, it was an interesting experience and let me tell you, country-kid parties are way different from city-kid parties.

The shirt that I wore is from American Eagle and I was just going to grab a photo of it off the AE website to show you, but for some reason I can't find the shirt on their site. I still wanted to show the nails with the shirt though, so here's a little collage of me + the shirt + the nails:

As you can see, I had taken the studs off before I realized that I needed to get these pictures, but the design still looked pretty awesome with the shirt! I don't usually bother matching my nails to my clothes, but to be honest I've kind of been putting off filming an intricate video tutorial so this was my excuse to procrastinate for a little longer.

I've used this tribal design before (first over a pink gradient and then over a galaxy print), but it's a really fun design so I don't think I'm going to stop using it any time soon haha!

I was also quite pleased with the gradient and how these two shades of green looked together (the darker shade near the cuticles is Essie's Vested Interest while the lighter green near the tips is Cult's Runyon).

The title I gave this design (if you're curious) actually has nothing whatsoever to do with these nails, it just happens to be the name of the song I was listening to while I was painting these haha!
