Good Evening

After a year and eight months SHINee's back (back, back) for their 10th anniversary with their 6th full length album, The Story of Light (EP. 1, 2 & 3). Today's design is inspired by the music video for Good Evening, the promotional track from EP. 1.

Shinin'

When SM first announced that they would be releasing Jonghyun's final album I was a little surprised at how fast it came. It was released just over a month after his passing, and honestly all of the emotions were, and still are, pretty raw. But everything else aside, Jonghyun is a true poet, a true artist, and being able to listen to Shinin' and then entire Poet | Artist album was a gift.

In Memory of Kim Jonghyun (1990-2017)

This is a design I never thought I would have to paint, but it's one that is extremely important to me. Jonghyun was, in every aspect of the word, an inspiration and he will be dearly, dearly missed.

Move

Doesn't Taemin's latest comeback just make you want to... move? 😉
Lame jokes aside, I was really impressed with Move - both the song and the album - and while I may be a little bit biased, it was definitely one of my favourite comebacks of the year. 

SHINee World V in Toronto

Hey guys! If you follow me on Instagram you probably already know that my friend Joanne and I were able to get tickets to see SHINee at the Sony Center in Toronto last Sunday! The concert was a lot of fun and obviously I couldn't go to the show without having my nails decked out in SHINee colours!

The first half of this post will be about the nails and then I'll talk a little bit more about my concert experience in the second half :)

This is another post that's been a long time coming.
Back in October I was able to find some time to do a design inspired by SHINee's comeback with 1of1! The song was super fun and I really enjoyed the 90s vibe of the music video.

Hey guys! I have another kpop design for you today (sorry to my followers who don't listen to this kind of music; a lot of groups I like just happen to be having comebacks all around the same time which is why I've been inundating you with these designs!). My muse for this design is SHINee, and more specifically the music video for View, the promotional single off their 4th Album Odd.

Crazy (Guilty Pleasure)

I'm so pumped for this design because it's the year's first addition to my comeback series! I haven't done a comeback design since September so I'm pretty happy to be at it again!
This time around the design is based off of the Music Video for Crazy (Guilty Pleasure) from Jonghyun's solo debut album Base (which is set to be released on the 13th!).
