So many groups have been coming to Toronto lately. As much as I love being able to see all of them, it's definitely also taking it's toll on my wallet 😅
With that being said though, I couldn't pass up a Red Velvet concert and snagged a P1 ticket for their Toronto concert back in February.
I based the design off of the tour poster, and I really love how it came out! The pointillism dots look even cooler from a bit farther back, but sadly all I took were these macro shots.
The robot guy on the pinky finger is Reve, who Yeri said she designed! Though she pronounced it "reeve" at the concert, she said his name means "dream" in French (and all the French-speaking Canadian fans at the concert tried to correct her pronunciation to rêve lol).
The concert was pretty fun and it was awesome seeing the girls, especially in Wendy's pseudo hometown. She cried, the members cried, everyone cried.
I must say though, it was my first time seeing a full girl group concert (I've seen Amber in the past, but no GGs) and the vibe of the crowd is soooo different from boy group concerts. Maybe it was just this concert specifically, but I found the crowd at the RV concert (with a higher percentage of guys) was way less into singing along with the songs or doing the fanchants? So it was a bit less hype than I was used to, though RV still killed it!
