Today's design is inspired by IU's new music video for her song Palette! I really love the vibe of the song and the aesthetics of the video so I wanted to make a design inspired by it!

This was another one of those designs where I had some behind-the-scenes troubles with getting the design to work out the way I wanted it to. This final design is actually the second version of the design: I had originally planned for the index, middle, and ring fingers to be a light pink and inspired by the record at the beginning, the flyer with the eyes and purple perforated piece, and the neon palette, but I really didn't like how it looked when I painted it. After some brainstorming with my friend Joanne we decided on using the Instagram text bubbles and pairing them with some other little thinks from the video. I think it turned out pretty well in the end though so I'm pretty happy with it!

The sixth picture didn't fit into the collage very well so I didn't include it, but the microphone on the ring finger is inspired by the mic on the iTunes page when G Dragon is doing his rap part.

As always for my kpop nail designs I also filmed a tutorial! Please be sure to credit me if you decide to recreate this design yourself and if you post your pics on social media please tag them with #looknyanails so I can see them!
