Marbled

To finish off my review of Serendipity Poilish's Coastal Christmas Collection I have a design using 3 out of the 5 colours!

It feels like I haven't done a watermarble design in forever! And I kind of haven't; the last time I tried watermarbling was two years ago. Thankfully, even without constant practice, my watermarbling skills have improved since then :P

If the red and pink look a little dark or dull it's because I did the watermarbling straight over the holo polish. My original idea was to watermarble with the red polish and the clear topcoat so you'd be able to see the holo underneath, but I found out fairly quickly that topcoat and watermarbling don't mix. As soon as the topcoat touches the water it dries which ruins any attempt at manipulating it in the water.
Plan B - using red and pink - is obviously what I went with in the end and though I don't really have much experience on the subject, I thought these polishes worked well for watermarbling.

To connect the holo nails with the watermarble nails I added some cute little pink studs that I got free with my order from Daily Charme! It was the perfect opportunity to use these cute, bright little studs! ^^

And that completes my review of this Serendipity Polish collection! What did you guys think about the colours? Any favourites?
