I'm a little bit late with this but this week's design is inspired by Amber's solo debut and her title track Shake That Brass! I may or may not have been listening to her album on repeat for the past week.
Honestly, when I started this design I thought it was going to be decently quick and pretty easy - I mean it's just a bunch of triangles, right? Wrong. This design took forever because it's not just a repeating pattern, some colours have more spikes than others and getting all those thin little black and white lines right was a pain.
The frustration and time were worth it though, I think it turned out pretty cool, almost like comic book art!
Here's a look at the scenes that inspired the design (there's a very high possibility that I'm becoming addicted to collages - please bare with me lol):
But yes, very excited about Amber getting a solo and I couldn't just let it pass by without doing a design for it! She has such a nice voice and I'm so glad she's getting to share it!

I have no idea who Amber is (maybe someone from a talent show?) but I love your design anyways! It looks so cool with all the triangles and colours and there's so much detail in it!! I loooove collages so I encourage your addiction! :D
ReplyDeleteAhaha that's ok, Amber's a member of a Girl Group that I like!
DeleteOh no don't encourage me or else you'll be seeing nothing but collages from here on out! :P
