Product Review: Silver Flat-Back Rhinestones

More reviews for Born Pretty Store! Don't forget to check out their nail art section for the product I'm reviewing as well as other cool items!

Today I have some silver rhinestones to review. I'm not going to lie, I literally spent over an hour trying to figure out just what to do with these rhinestones. In the end I decided on this super cute design!

These rhinestones come in a one-wheel set that should contain 400 2-3mm pieces, (I can't verify the exact number, but there are a lot of rhinestones in the wheel).

There are 5 different shapes of rhinestones in the wheel, (separated into two sections per shape): square, rectangle, triangle, circle, and teardrop.

For this review I only used the teardrop shaped rhinestones, but I would assume the other rhinestones in the set would be much the same for reviewing purposes.

Before even getting to the product, I must say that this is the most difficult-to-open rhinestone wheel I've reviewed. Usually the wheels have a little plastic cover on the top that rotates in place so that one section opens at a time. For this one though, the entire plastic cover swings off the wheel (it stays attached, but all the sections are open at once). Figuring out how to open it was a little difficult, but it's ok once you've figured it out. You also probably want to open it gently because opening it quickly could end up with rhinestones flying everywhere.

As for the rhinestones themselves, since they're so small I had no problems with getting them to lay flat on my nails which is great. As usual, I used nail art glue to adhere them to my nails and as I'm writing this out they've so far managed to stay on for a whole day without falling off.

I'm pretty impressed with these rhinestones since they seem to be pretty durable, versatile and overall very pretty! I can definitely see myself using them a lot!

If you'd like to try these rhinestones for yourself, they sell for C$4.66 (US$4.25) for a one wheel set. If you do end up purchasing them (or anything else at BPS), don't forget that a) there's free worldwide shipping on everything in the store and b) you can use my code FHX31 for 10% off your order!

Thanks for reading!
