Electric Shock

The weather around here hasn't been the best this summer, it's been overcast and threatening to rain more days than I can count and I've been trying to counteract this depressing weather with cute, bright nails.
This week I decided to do something different and instead embrace the rain!



It's kind of hard to tell in those pictures, but there is a gradient in the base, it's just really hard to see unless you're in really harsh lighting. In hindsight, it probably wasn't the best idea to do a black to navy blue gradient...




I like this design for it's simplicity and while I kind of wish the gradient was more obvious in normal lighting, I do think it's kind of cool that you can't see the gradient without a flash of brightness - like lightning!
