A Whale of a Time

Still haven't been feeling very inspired lately so I decided to do a design based off of a notepad I have.

And here is the inspiration for the design:

Honestly, I don't know how I feel about this design. Like it's kind of cute but it just doesn't have that "it" factor for me. I feel like there should have been more whales. Possibly.

Anyways, I broke out the watercolours for this design and for once actually achieved the right ratio of paint to water so I could actually do the design without the paint beading up and following the brush around. So that was a plus.

But yeah, still kind of not feeling this design. Oh well.
