30 Day Nail Challenge, Day 22: Inspired by a Song

Wow, hey guys, I'm so sorry I'm so behind on posts here. I've been so busy with classes that I've only been keeping up with tumblr and I've been letting things over here slide.

Anyways, here are my Suit and Tie nails from a few weeks ago. If you can't tell, (I know some people I talked to couldn't), that's an old fashioned microphone on the thumb!
How I love having little suits on my nails... it may also have something to do with my love of black and white manicures.

Anyways, I promise to try to be more regular with updates everyone!
(And if you want to stay up to date, you may consider checking out my official tumblr).

30 Day Nail Challenge, Day 21: Inspired by a Colour

Just to forewarn you, I really adore this manicure. It's not how I originally planned it, but I really do love how it turned out, and I think it matches with the prompt perfectly.

While I had these nails and was buying food, I had a lady at the cafeteria tell me that I should drop out of University and pursue a career doing nails because she was so impressed.
While I don't think I'll be dropping out of school any time soon, the thought behind her comment was so sweet and it made me smile!

Mix n' Match

Wow I am so late on updating over here. My apologies to everyone, I've just been super busy moving into Res (1st year Uni, woo!) and starting classes.

Moving on, I did these nails for my friend a few weeks ago (and she still had them on when I saw her last Saturday; that's dedication).

Initially, she didn't really know what kind of design she wanted so she kind of went on a "shopping spree" through my blog and picked out designs that I've done in the past and adjusted the colours to her liking.
From thumbs to pinkys, the designs come from the following manicures:
Dream Girl
Trap
We're Off to See the Wizard
30 Day Nail Challenge, Day 7: Black and White Nails
I Wanna Dance.

I forgot to write down the products I used for this manicure, but if you're really curious about a certain colour just ask, I'm sure I can figure out what it is.

30 Day Nail Challenge, Day 20: Water Marbled

And with that I'm finished the "Patterns" section of the 30 Day Challenge!
This means I only have one part left, "Inspiration."

I quite liked this manicure, bit the pictures really don't do it justice. The pink is bright neon and it goes surprisingly well with the metallic gold. My favourite nail also happens to be the thumb on my right hand so I've included a picture of that as well.

Products Used:
Essie - 941 Good as Gold
Essie - 1017 Bottle Service
Revlon - 955 Quick Dry Base COat
Sally Hansen - 300 White On
Seche Vite - Top Coat
2mm Square Gold Studs
Gold Caviar Beads

30 Day Nail Challenge, Day 19: Galaxies

Wow, I'm really late on updates, sorry about that guys!
This was technically my second time doing galaxy nails, but the first time was for a friend so I don't really count it.
Anyways, these are supposed to look like the view through a telescope, which is why there's a matte black around the circles. Not sure if that's very evident but I liked it nonetheless.

All the names of the constellations and the products used can be found under the cut!

30 Day Nail Challenge, Day 19: Half Moons

I'm a little late with this post, but these are the nails I had for the half moons prompt. I actually loved them so much, but I had to take them off after a day because I shouldn't be going into work with the caviar beads on my nails.
This was, however, my first attempt at the "quilted" look. It took me a while to get the hang of it. At first I was making the lines too early, which peeled the nail polish away and it looked pretty bad. Once I realized what I was doing wrong though it turned out pretty well.
I've also developed a slight addiction to caviar beads so you might be seeing more of them in my future manicures.
