Year in Manicures: 2014

How has another year gone by already?! So much happened for the blog in 2014 that I'm almost sad to see it go. As I mentioned in my 2 year anniversary post, in the past year I've gotten N.Y.A.N. onto different social networks, started doing product reviews, and met some awesome people along the way! I won't go into detail about all that since I'd just be repeating myself, but I did want to take this opportunity to look back at some of my favourite designs from the past year!

2014, Year of the Horse

Chinese New Year is just around the corner so obviously a manicure was needed. Isn't the design cute? It's inspired by the illustration below:

I did something similar last year and thought it would be fun to continue with the series!

I didn't have the patience to do the same design on my right hand so my roommate suggested I do swirls. They turned out way better than I thought they would and I added some studs to finish off the look:

They're really simple but still really cute!
