So recently I've started keeping track of the number of time people request designs from certain kpop groups. Overall, I currently have 124 requests spread over 31 different groups. Obviously it would be pretty unrealistic to try to make designs for all of these groups (even if I did two designs a week and only focused on the requests it would still take me at least three and a half months). However, based on the sheer number of requests for a Seventeen design (about 13% of total requests), and the fact that they recently had a comeback, I finally caved and made a design for them. So here is my design inspired by the music video for Very Nice (aka 아주 Nice) by Seventeen.
While the mv for this song was pretty, it didn't really give me much to grab onto and turn into a design. The main point, in my opinion, was the members' exploding chests, so I did my best to capture that in the design. In trying to do that, I got the opportunity to reuse a technique I came up with during NAFW2016, the tissue-paper-flower.
While it may not be the most practical, it looks pretty and it's a very, very simple technique to master.
Another shout out once again to my friend Joanne for brainstorming with me when I had no idea what to do with this mv. We managed to settle on this design in like half an hour, which is pretty fast considering the 3 days we spent agonizing over my Lucky One design.

I've also made a tutorial for this design, so make sure to check that out if you want to recreate this design!
Also be sure to credit me if you're recreating this design and tag your pictures with #looknyanails on IG and Tumblr so I can see them!
Enjoy!
